With the Front Enclosure Microphone Connected, Neither Microphone Works.
Symptom
With the Front Enclosure Microphone Connected, Neither Microphone Works See Long Description FE reported the following problem with his HDe installation: The front patient microphone (in the front enclosure) kills the intercom system. It will not work at all with the front mic plugged into the Patient Communication Box. With the front mic connected neither the front nor rear (LPCA-mounted) microphone will work. It doesn't matter which port on the intercom box he plugs it into. The rear mic can be plugged into either port and works fine. He ordered a replacement front mic that does the exact same thing.
