Advantx Systems with line Regulator part number: 46-232584G1-C or older.
Advantx power up problems.
Symptom
Advantx Systems with line Regulator part number: 46-232584G1-C or older. When the Advantx powers down, the Line Regulator Capacitors C19 and C20 hold up the DC Supply while the line drops out. This produces an error signal that causes the 120vac line regulator to drive up by 20-30 volts. When the unit is next turned on, it applies an excessively high voltage to all modules and components down line causing damage. Sometimes the regulator will drive down and if the voltage is too low, boot and power up problems occur.
