Airsys Chiller Does Not Auto Restart after Power Failure.

Symptom

Airsys Chiller Does Not Auto Restart after Power Failure or Brownout See Long Description Power failure this morning at this site. Our Airsys chiller does not reset after power outage. We have to go to site and power it up, usually by turning breaker off and on, then resetting the chiller control panel. This happens with all Airsys chillers we have sold. I have a half dozen of them in this area. They all do the same thing. Some are on the roof along with the power disconnect and we have to get on the roof to reset them. Unfortunately we are selling them to our customers and they feel we are responsible for them every time the power goes out. That is quite frequently in Florida. It is a sore spot with them when we inform them they are responsible for resetting them. PQR 13078445. Note: The Air sys chiller was alarming on an error code E01 indicating that the chiller was overdrawing on current. This is one of two error codes that do not allow the chiller to auto restart. The error code is caused by loss of a phase or a brown out situation, causing the chiller to overdraw on current.

Error message
