Peripheral Gating Waveform is Noisy.
Symptom
Peripheral Gating Waveform is Noisy Customer complained of noisy peripheral gating waveform. For some reason the waveform became excessivly noisy and unusable after pressing the update button in the gating control menu. Discovered that customer had cable connected to PAC that interfaced an Invivo patient monitor to the MRI. Upon removal of this cable the waveform was free of noise and seemed to function properly. Somehow the cable was introducing noise to the PAC. I'm not sure if attaching a patient monitor to the MR in this fasion is sanctioned by Service Engineering, but in this case it caused an issue.
