Intermittent severe corduroy on lumbar when cradle is extended more than 933 mm. on a Contour mobile.
Symptom
MRIQ Intermittent Corduroy Artifact on Lumbar Scans when the Cradle is Extended More Than 933 mm. on a Contour Mobile. Link to image quality troubleshooting guide. There are 3 cables which run through the cradle and are flexed when the cradle reaches out. The RX 0, RX 90 and Coil ID cables between the cradle end and preamp. When the cradle drives into the bore, the bend angle on the cables will decrease to around 45 degrees @ 933mm. This constant flexing will breakdown a cable. http://3.87.118.28/optec3/common/8xdocs/epst/mod11/m11_010_000.html
