Several Failures of the 8 Channel Brain Coil Latching Mechanism on this Base plate Have Been Observed, Requiring Replacement of the Entire Coil SMILe 5/21/04 Subject: MR SMILe: 8ch Brain Coil Latch FRU (2317112-12) Effectivity: All Signa 1.5T EXCITE systems with the MRID 1.5T 8ch brain coil (p/n 2317112-2), revisions 0 and 1.
