Array Processor Errors Due to Master AP Board.

Symptom

Array processor AP errors during scanning. Scans stop (abort) with an AP error logged. It appears that AP crashes are not related to heavy duty recon jobs or high data acquisition rates. A typical set of stress scans did not reproduce AP crashes. AP error file doesn't reveal any pattern either. Site currently has old style (Reflex-400A) boards. These boards were swapped for the newer Reflex-400B, but there was no change in symptoms. SPR MRIhc06568

2253518 The system did not find the right number of CPUs on the AP boards. Only 6 CPUs were found when there should be 8. This indicates that one of the AP boards may be partially defective.-> See Long Description 2253518 2 WFBIMRI diagCoord apBld.c 324 Diagnostic: Dual Board AP Mem Iteration: 1 of 1 Action: 1 Task ID: 0x3fa6948 Time: 16436 Object: APS Test Task The system did not find the right number of CPUs on the AP boards. Only 6 CPUs were found when there should be 8. This indicates that one of the AP boards may be partially defective.-> Extended Error : There should be 4 CPUs on each AP board. If there are two AP boards, this test can't tell which board is defective. Try reseating boards and verify each is in correct slot. If problem persists then replace single AP Board. If dual AP then configure to single AP and run diag again to isolate failure.
