Table Not at Scan Plane Due to Longitudinal Encoder.
Symptom
Auto Prescan Failure when table is not at scan plane. see long description When the system requires the user to move the table, the Move to Scan button on the operator’s console will blink green. After the user presses this button, the table does move, but depending on the timing, an error message appears stating “Unable to start prescan! Table not at scan plane”. Workaround : After the table has moved to the scan plane, push the Scan button again and the sequence will start.
