Application Software does not complete the boot process with TPS Download failure Due to VRE Configuration.

Symptom

Fails TPS Reset when booting up to Applications or when Resetting TPS See Long Description When the MR system is booting up to applications it will fail TPS reset but Applications will successfully boot. With Applications up and "Reset TPS" has been selected, TPS fails to download successfully.

Error message

2223852 The APS board reported a communication manager (CM) initialization error. See Long Description Please check the error log for a more detailed error message from the board. Extended Error: MCP820 boards can be identified by the word MCP820 printed on the board extraction lever

2249436 Communication problem between APS and VRE. See long description Mon Jun 4 07:37:51 2007 Error: 2249436 Host: lx-mr Process: diagCoord File: cm_init.c Line: 293 Task ID: 0x6d89800 Time: 1807 Object: APS Exception Class: Unknown Function: Software/Firmware: Host Communications Communication problem between APS and VRE. The APS could not notify the VRE that communication is established.-> Extended Error: ERROR: EM_OS_CM_INIT_RPC_VRE Communication problem between APS and VRE. The APS could not notify the VRE that communication is established. Extended Error: This could be an indication of a hardware problem with the APS or VRE boards or an ethernet cabling problem on the MGD subnet. Verify the ethernet cabling on the MGD subnet, reboot VRE, and perform a TPS Reset. Run diagnostics if the problem recurs.
