Symptom
Software Fails to Boot and Crashes to the "OK" Prompt.
Error message
ID Prom invalid or The IDPROM contents are invalid Both messages appear in the boot up sequence, not in an error log. Won't see both at the same time. Message that is displayed depends on type of CPU. See Long Description. Be sure to use appropriate static precautions. It is not necessary to remove the Video Board, just the Bit 3 (center) board to gain access to the chip.
