Symptom
Patches Can Become Corrupted When Not Saved Properly to CDROM. Effectivity: All 1.5T and 3.0T EXCITE systems equipped with a Linux PC. Problem: If patches are downloaded from the patch web site but are not saved properly to CDROM then the patches on the CDROM may be corrupted. Installing corrupted patches on the system may cause system malfunctions. SMILe 2/18/05
