Lava and merge 2d are standard features on 11.1 and do not need option keys.
Symptom
Lava and merge 2d options can't be installed on 11.1 system See long description FE replaced the HP computer on this Excite Plus system running 11.1 software, and got new keys from the eLicense web site. In eLicense, in the list of key strings provided with ScanTools, lava and merge 2d string keys are present. After downloading and installing the ScanTools, and all other options, from eLicense, lava and merge 2d are not seen on the system, either in Guided Install or by running the command sok_test from a command prompt on the system. They are neither shown as being "present" nor "absent", there is just no listing at all these two options on the system. We expect to at least see either "present" or "absent" status, but they just aren't there at all. When the FE tries to manually enter the lava and merge 2d key strings seen in eLicense for this site, Guided Install on the system returns a message " Warning! Wrong license string ", and in the Status area of Guided Install, the error message " Option Keys Install failed! " is seen. What's wrong, why are these options not present after installing ScanTools, and why are we not able to install them manually?
Error message
Option Keys Install failed! See Long Description This text is seen in the Status area of Guided Install. Warning! Wrong license string See Long Description This text appears in the message area of Guided Install. It is not logged on the system.
