Unable To Archive Due To System Does Not Recognize The MOD.
Symptom
MOD Drive Does Not Appear in Browser under Archive Tab as an Archive Device See Long Description The MOD drive does not appear as a device in the browser for archive under the Archive tab, so the customer is unable to archive. There are no errors logged or visible to the operator. However when the FE runs the /export/home/sdc/scsistat command in a Cshell, the MOD drive is shown with all the correct information. So the computer can see the MOD drive but applications software doesn't recognize it. He has tried adding the MOD drive in software by using the [Setup Devices] button in Guided Install under the [Display MOD / CD-ROM] tab. However that did not work in this case.
