DSP2 Handshake Error due to Software Bug

Symptom

Unable to Scan due to DSP2 Handshake Error See Long Description Information dated 12/19/2008: iTrak # 13229891 The system log contains a “DSP2 Handshake” error message upon the initial boot of a system loaded with software release 15x_0845.c (15.0_M3_0845.c). Gradient diagnostics including Hammer and Framing/Clock Stop tests fail. Subsequent TPS Reset attempts have the same results.
