DSP2 Handshake Error due to Software Bug
Symptom
Unable to Scan due to DSP2 Handshake Error See Long Description Information dated 12/19/2008: iTrak # 13229891 The system log contains a “DSP2 Handshake” error message upon the initial boot of a system loaded with software release 15x_0845.c (15.0_M3_0845.c). Gradient diagnostics including Hammer and Framing/Clock Stop tests fail. Subsequent TPS Reset attempts have the same results. Swapping hardware such as GP3, STIF, SRF, and fiber optics does not eliminate the error. 14x software on the same system does not log the error. 2244720 2 BROCKGEMR78 NSP SCP:Grad 2339 Exception Class: Unknown Severity: Unknown Function: Gradient: N/A PSD: Unknown Coil: Unknown Scan: -1/-1 DSP2 on the GP did not respond to the last interrupt request (Handshake Error).
