Cannot program the replacement NVRAM with "cd" characters.
Symptom
Unable to Reprogram the NVRAM Host ID number NVRAM chip on the SPARC motherboard was replaced but now unable to program the original host ID from the removed chip onto the replacement chip. All options are tied to the host ID number so they can't be used on other systems.
Error message
Device not found This message appears during reprogramming of the chip and is displayed on the next line in the program response. Neither Unix or Applications is booted at this time. The host CPU is running at the "ok" prompt.
