Copyright 2002 General Electric Company 1 of 2 Product Data E4500AL/AM 4/17/02 Applications E4500AL, X-ray warning and room lighting control panel provides a low voltage interface between the room warning lights, interior room lighting systems, and the x-ray system. Convenient, pre-wired foot switch operation of the room lights, aids in precise imaging system positioning. E4500AM, X-ray warning light control panel provides a low voltage interface between only the room warning lights and the CT or X-ray system.Interconnection terminals within the imaging system provide the active control signal utilized by this panel. E4500AL panel provides low voltage, low energy control of the room and warning lighting. E4500AM provides only the X-ray warning light on-off control. Low voltage control eliminates the hazard of facility lighting system distribution voltages in the imaging control system cabinets. Servicing safety is improved by the elimination of the 120 or 240 volt lighting circuit from the imaging control system cabinet. Saves time previously used to check, locate and lock out the room warning light and room light circuits. Low voltage control also eliminates the lighting circuit short circuit energy from the imaging control panel. Panel utilizes a dry relay contact in the imaging system to activate x-ray lights via the selfcontained contactor. Installation time, space, and money are saved with the utilization of this UL\cUL listed, CE Labeled, factory manufactured and tested panel. Custom wiring diagram and instruction manual is included for easy coordination of wiring to x-ray or CT Systems. The x-ray Lighting Control Panel provides stock availability of otherwise special order devices, saving time and installation costs.
