Symptom

SN4841 INX100, Fmi 12105: DL Vsa Package installer can fail during upgrade SN4841 INX100, Fmi 12105: Vsa Package Installation Issue Rev. 1 5326639-8EN PURPOSE/SYMPTOM: This Service Note provides a procedure to apply if meeting an issue loading VSA package of DL application. PROBLEMS When reloading DL application onto SP2 or SP3, VSA installer can fail during upgrade. A locking mechanism containing the app.lock file with permission set at “read only” has been implemented from SP2. PROBLEMS When reloading DL application onto SP2 or SP3, VSA installer can fail during upgrade. A locking mechanism containing the app.lock file with permission set at “read only” has been implemented from SP2. VSA installation fails overwriting the file app.lock file (read only) and popup an error message. SOLUTIONS Log in DL Service Delete the file C/insite/ProDiags/healthpage/app.lock before loading DL application. Note: the problem will be fixed in the next release.
