This document describes the device and it’s installation process. The TouchPad Controller is INSTALLED & SERVICED by Volcano Field Engineers only! The intention of this document is to give detailed description of the device for the sake of information only. THE TOUCHPAD CONTROLLER The Touchpad Controller offers most of the functionality of the Volcano s5i System Control Console (GEHC P/N: 5178113-2) with the exception of the keyboard. It also offers easy frame-by-frame review using its Back and Forward buttons. It is a compact, sealed unit that can be used at bedside. An available quick-action mount provides easy table mounting and removal. The Touchpad controller is connected to the Workstation Computer (a.k.a. CPU tower) with a USB cable. The Touchpad Controller is double-insulated and therefore requires no special grounding provisions. It is powered from the USB connection.
