SN4868 Innova 3100-IQ, bad pixel calibration reset needed Rev. 1 5339205-8EN PURPOSE/SYMPTOM Purpose of this service note is to eliminate false Bad Pixel Calibration fails on systems updated from Unity-M3 into Unity-M4 or Unity SPx release for Innova3100-IQ. PROBLEM Bad pixel matrix size is 1024x1024for Unity M3 while 768x768 M4/SPx releases, thus if bp_history_file was not deleted during the update SN4868 Innova 3100-IQ, bad pixel calibration reset needed Rev. 1 5339205-8EN PURPOSE/SYMPTOM Purpose of this service note is to eliminate false Bad Pixel Calibration fails on systems updated from Unity-M3 into Unity-M4 or Unity SPx release for Innova3100-IQ. PROBLEM Bad pixel matrix size is 1024x1024for Unity M3 while 768x768 M4/SPx releases, thus if bp_history_file was not deleted during the update, then the previous file is reused during new calibration and previous BP locations in 1024*1024 matrix are now relocated in a smaller matrix 768*768 causing false failing point in binned mode in Bad Pixel Calibration result. SOLUTION Reset Bad Pixel calibration and perform again Bad Pixel Calibration.
