Loss of Signal or Shading in Spine Images due to the Coil.

Symptom

MRIQ Loss of Signal or Shading in Spine Images See Long Description Note: In the example shown below, the 8 Channel CTL coil is referenced, but it should be realized that the same problem could have occurred at another site with the 4 Channel CTL coil. The FE had installed this coil the day before, and it was working fine at that time. In fact, it had passed the 8 Channel USAI CTL Array Quality Assurance Test at that time without a problem. But today the customer is complaining about loss of signal or shading in the anterior portion of the 8CTL123 axial images. See below for an example of the problem from the site.

2224725 Low signal detected. Please check the signal level for receiver X (or receiver X while using Manual Prescan) See Long Description Error: 2224725 Host: hopgemr1a Process: NSP File: APS:aps_frame_range_check Line: 10 Low signal detected.
