GemnetIV, getting DVD library hardware fault.

Symptom

GemnetIV, getting DVD library hardware fault. GemnetIV is showing error DVD library hardware fault. Several patients were marked offline. If you selected these patinets that were on a DVD disk, they had a red circle around the DVD icon in GEMNETIV Explorer. So the library could not pull any of the patients. One thing that I found was that the diskextender Agent was not running. The diskextender Server was. What made me look at this was the diskender was showing the extended disk drive offline. After restarting this service, I ran dbaddotg - Several patients were marked offline. If you selected these patinets that were on a DVD disk, they had a red circle around the DVD icon in GEMNETIV Explorer. So the library could not pull any of the patients. One thing that I found was that the diskextender Agent was not running. The diskextender Server was. What made me look at this was the diskender was showing the extended disk drive offline. After restarting this service, I ran dbaddotg -v again. After it ran, there were no errors. The red circles were gone and you could now get to these patinets. System is up and running.
