11.1 E3DTOF Cervical Images Are Fuzzy And Not as Crisp Due to CV5 ON Which Defaults to Zero-Filled Instead of Homodyne.

Symptom

11.1 E3DTOF Cervical Images Are Fuzzy And Not as Crisp With 11.0 SW. See long description Sites using E3DTOF for cervical spine scans are accustom to seeing crisper images and vessels using 'homodyne' recon and not 'zero-filled' recon with 11.0. E3DTOF is one of the new features for 11.1 where several optimizations were employed to improve IQ and reduce the scan time. One of these optimizations defaults IQ processing to `zero-filled' recon and gives the vessels a smoother appearance instead of being crisp like earlier 11.0 'homodyne' recon option.Unfortunately, most sites are accustom to this crisp vessel appearance since `homodyne' recon was the default with 11.0 sw and do not like the now defaulted smoother `zero-filled' recon images with 11.1 software.
