Can the HD Version of the Eight 8 Channel High Resolution Brain Coil Work on HDx Systems.

Can the HD Version of the Eight 8 Channel High Resolution Brain Coil Work on HDx Systems See Long Description A customer had an upgraded HDx system with the legacy Bendix coil port in the LPCA. One of the coils they've been using on this upgraded HDx system was the "GE 1.5T 8 Channel High Resolution Brain Array", part number 2317112-2. This is the older version of the 8Ch Brain Coil, that uses the legacy Bendix connector. Upgraded HDx system have a legacy port in the LPCA to permit use of these older coils. But then a flood came and destroyed the system, but the coil was not damaged. The customer then installed a new forward production HDx system to replace the one that was destroyed. Because the new forward production HDx system does not have a legacy coil port, the customer was not able to use this coil. They asked the FE to replace the coil's cable to make it work on the new system. They asked the FE to install the newer cable (from the new style 8ch High Resolution Brain coil p/n 5146634-2) on this older coil to allow it to plug into one of the Hypertronics coil ports (A or B) which are the only ones that exist on the forward production system. Will this work? Can the FE do this?
