MRIQ Signal Loss on Multiple Coils due to bent pins in Legacy Connector.

MRIQ Phased Array Signal Dropout See Long Description and Attachment System intermittently had images which show coil signal drop off as if one of the coils in the phased array is not receiving any signal. This drop off is only seen on some (not all) of the slices in a given series. Since the slices are acquired in an interleaved fashion, and some of the slices had good signal from this coil element, it is very unlikely that this could be caused by a bad coil or receive channel hardware. Here's another example: A 1.5T LX site had been complaining about intermittently getting extreme shading only on their coronal spine STIR sequence images acquired on the USAI CTL Phased Array coil. All other series were fine. When they rescanned the exact same anatomy, using the exact same coil config (USLS456) but switched the protocol to a standard T2 FSE acquisition the images looked uniform with no hint of the shading problem seen on the STIRs. Local service team had gone through the multicoil hardware several times verifying its integrity and had been unable to reproduce the problem on phantoms, but nearly half of the customer's clinical scans had the problem on this series.
