The High Order Shim Supply Inlet Heat Sink Sensor Does Not Exist
Symptom
Heat sink Temp (inlet) Value is Always 0.0 in High Order Shim Supply Functional Check Analog Data Test See Long Description and Attachment In the "High Order Shim Supply Functional Check" document found in Signa HDx Service Methods, Direction 5155500, Rev# 6.0, we see the procedure for running the High Order Shim Supply Functional Check under Functional Checks --> System --> High Order Shim Supply Functional Check . To view the most recent appropriate and detailed documentation, click to go to MR Service Documentation. In section 7 "Analog Data", Table 6 shows an example of the expected test results. In this table, one of the lines is as follows "Heat sink Temp (inlet) 23.5". However when this test was run at the site, the value always shown in the test output was "Heat sink Temp (inlet) 0.0". This appeared to be a problem. Possibly this was a bad shim supply based upon the expected output. Is this the case? Is this an actual test failure? See Attached file for a screen shot of the actual test results.
