Unable to Selectively Remove 1.5T HD Neurovascular Array Coil Names from Site Coils.
Symptom
Unable to Selectively Remove 1.5T HD Neurovascular Array Coil Names from Site Coils See Long Description Customer is unable to selectively remove certain coil names from the 1.5T HD Neurovascular Array coil on 14.0 M5 s/w. Customer doesn't want to see the coil names that they never use. In other words, when installing the 1.5T HD Neurovascular Array coil into the system, the following coil names are added as a block: HDNV Array, HDNV Head, HDNV Head Neck, HDNV Neck, HDNV Spectro, HDNV ArrayServ, HDNV HeadServ, HDNV HdNeckServ, HDNV NeckServ, HDNV SpectroServ. The customer expressed dissatisfaction with having the coil names present on the system that she never uses. For example she never uses the HDNV Spectro coil name, and would rather not see it. And there are other coil names she doesn't use and doesn't want. She asked the FE to remove certain of these coils, but he was unable to find a way to do this. Using the Configuration File Manager, if any coil is removed, they all go. If any coil name is added, they all get added. The FE submitted iTrak # 13174535 for this problem, in which he made the following statement: Software does not allow addition or removal of individual multi-coils. Example is HDNV coil. Adding any one of the Multi-coils listed for HDNV loads the entire set when all are not desired. If operator removes “HDNV Spectro”, all HDNV multi-coils will be removed.
