Completing Installation: Customer Instruction and Settings Backup

Close out a DryStar 5300 installation by briefing the customer on day-to-day operation of the printer and taking a settings backup onto the film tray's CF card via the Key-operator menu — the two tasks in DD+DIS346.05E's own §9, "Completion of installation."

Applies to
Drystar 5300, Type 5365 — source Chapter 1, "Controls, Connections and Set Up Procedures," §9 "Completion of installation" (§9.1-9.2), Edition 1, Revision 10 (2006-01-26), document p.70-71. Both tasks are marked mandatory in source: instructing the customer in printer operation (§9.1, task code APPL) and saving settings to the backup CF card via the Key-operator menu (§9.2, task code INS).
Personnel
Basic-to-intermediate field-service skill: walk the customer through switching the printer on/off, loading films (RF tag and its function), removing film jams, and preventing/handling dust stripes — all five activities in §9.1 point the customer to a section of the separate User or Reference Manual, not reproduced in this section and not yet part of this corpus — then open the film tray, remove the CF card, and follow the Key-operator menu's "4 Save Configuration" prompts on the LCD display (§9.2). No calibration or diagnostic-software step is included in this section. Source assigns no formal skill-level label to this section (derived).
