This artifact shows up when there is a count rate of around 50 cps. This artifact shows up when there is a count rate of around 50 cps. Clinically, the defect was noted on a 24hr delay bone scan acquisition. Acquire Background acquistion with Collimator mounted and no sources present, check for hots spots and lines in image as below. Note that probem did not occur when acquired without collimator, occurs only during very low count rates. Second Example:
