Compax Lock Readjustment Fix
Symptom
Compax 40, 40E, 400 - Lateral, transverse and bucky locks on the compax tables will not stay in adjustment. Readjustment is time consuming and difficult. Lateral, transverse and bucky locks on the Compax tables will not stay in adjustment. Readjustment is time consuming and difficult. The lock adjusting screw will back out over time. There is no provision to keep the screw in place. Vibrations will cause the screw to turn itself in and the lock will be spaced too far from the locking surface to provide the needed holding force.
