Symptom
Fuji - Smart CR will sometimes keep DICOM association open with the MIU and not close it. SEE LONG DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DETAILS OF ISSUE. SEE LONG DESCRIPTION PACS 8.1M5 SP3 When the Fuji Smart CR was first installed, there was a problem where the Smart CR would sometimes keep a DICOM association open with the MIU and not close it. The problem occurred when the Smart CR user ended a multi-image exam before all of the expected images were acquired. For example if the user acquires the PA image of a "PA and LAT" exam is be, and ends the exam by selecting the exit door icon before acquiring the Lateral image, the CR keeps the DICOM association open with the MIU and does not end the association. We were unable to delete the exam from the CR send queue until the CR was powered down and restarted and the queued exam deleted again. The MIU kept the association open and appeared to hang after a while.
