Scan Stopped With Corduroy Artifact and Vertical Lines and Bands with Y-Axis Current distortion Fault due to Wide Area Power Event.
Symptom
MRIQ Corduroy Artifact with Vertical Bands & Lines and "Y-Axis Current Distortion Fault" Error See long Description Customer was scanning when the scan stopped and image artifacts were found to have occurred that showed bright white vertical bands and lines and a corduroy effect in the images. See Attachment for an example of one of these images. The error shown below was found to have been logged several times at the time of this event: (PQR 13089479) 2244577 The GP reported a Z Axis Current Distortion Fault. If no other faults occurred, check LCoil Calibration. Else, run Gradient Driver Tests to isolate the FRU. If Tests pass, see Troubleshooting Manual.
