Symptom
Def8000 Detector Drive failed due to a broken shaft on the Idler Assembly (pn 2400502). The lower shaft fractured at the point of the hole drilled for the pin securing the Gear. During replacement it was noted that returning the replacement Idler Assembly to the original position resulted in excessive Belt Tension.
