SCPU Compax 40E Heater Board Noisy
Symptom
Replacement heater board used on SCPU power unit and MPH generator has a very loud audible noise that is objectionable to the customer. The noise appears to be coming from capacitors C105 and C205. FE replaced one of the two capacitors with a good one from the old board and the noise was reduced significantly. FE mentioned the new board has capacitors that are physically about 1/3 larger than the old board.
