PROTEUS JEDI Communication Problem
Symptom
PROTEUS When system is powered up, console technic boxes do not fill in with any parameters and the OTS UIF displays stay at "8888". See long description: It appears to be a CAN bus communication problem involving the JEDI. The CAN bus termination measures 62.4-ohms which looks OK. The JEDI KV Control Board LEDs S0-S7 are scrolling, indicating it is running Applications, and the RAD I/F Board has DS1 and DS2 flashing. Parts replaced include Console, cable from Console to System I/FJ119, System I/F Board, JEDI KV Control Board, and JEDI RAD I/F Board; still have the same problem. Disconnected J115 and J116 from the System I/F Board and closed JTR on the Collimator I/F Board to terminate the bus; still have the same problem. See activity on TX_CONS on the KV Control Board, but no activity on RX_CONS. FE ordered cable from RAD I/F Board J10 TO KV CONTROL Board J1 (2249900) and Collimator I/F Board.
