A faulty TGPU board 2349697-3 caused scout scans and helical scans to fail with error 260100040.
Symptom
System will not take any scout or helical scans. Axial scans works. See Long Description for detail Scan hardware stops scan on any scout scan or helical scan attempts with error Timeout on Table gate signal (Cradle Sync Pulse). System would still take axial scans ok. FE indicated that whenever a scout or helical scan was attempted, the gantry would rotate and the table would move as if it was doing the scan, however the xray on indicator would never come on.
