Revolution XQi, XRd, XRd2X, Def8000, AMX700 Fuji Synapse displays different WC/WW values for every image

Symptom

XQi, XRd, XRd2X, Def8000, AMX700 Fuji Synapse calculates brightness/contrast (WC/WW) values differently for each image. See long description: Values may appear as 8190/16300 for one image and 8188/16377 for the next image. The concern is that these values are different than the typical 8192/16383. If values that are different from 8192/16383 on Fuji Synapse, the brightness or contrast may be different than expected. The differences are less than 1% for over 95% of GE images. However, the difference can be as large as 10% in rare cases (less than 1% of the time). Because the differences are less than 1% for most images, the impact on Image Quality is low. The Fuji Synapse WC/WW values are calculated using the following formulas: WW = max(GE-VOILUT) – min(GE-VOILUT) WC = WW/2 + min(GE-VOILUT)
