Symptom
XQi, XRd, XRd2X, Def8000, AMX700 SMPTE pattern should always have brightness (WC) of 8192 and contrast (WW) of 16383. SMPTE pattern may load incorrectly with WC of 7596. Incorrect brightness may cause an incorrect analysis of monitor calibration, especially on a high quality PACS monitor. Differences on a low quality monitor, like on the XR/d 18” NEC monitors, are minimal.
