Service Note 43596_1 Feb/06 DSX lead cover repair kit The lead cover can become unusable: If the screws are over tightened. Over tightening will bend the metal rectangular washers and deform the fastening area of thecover itself. If the metal rectangular washers are not used. This too will deform the fastening area and allows the screws to pull through the soft lead. See Resolution
