America and Canada Daylight Savings time law change implication.

DST On-site time zone and time correction confusing. MR Octane products. The date time tab in Guided install is confusing once time zone is set to UTC offset. Time is displayed as GMT. The top left corner of the console screen read 1:27 PM The date command echoed in a C-shell Wed March 07 13:27:32 local 2007 The Guided Install set time/date screen showed the Hour/ Mins change section as(Hour= 20 Min= 24 = GMT =7 hours ahead in my case),normally this would be "local time". To make a change one would have to roll back the hour tab by 7 hours in my case BEFORE hitting set date /time or the system time would jump 7 hours ahead. The GUI always changed back to GMT ref every time I entered the tool NOT local time.
