AMX 4 - SN3397 Latch Switch Assembly
Symptom
AMX 4 Failure of the Tube Park Latch Switch Assembly SEE LONG DESCRIPTION The purpose of this service note (SN3397) is to announce a new design latch assembly that is available to replace the current tube park switch 46-270907P2. The new design incorporates a non-contact Hall effect sensor that is backwards compatible when the old switch is ordered. The new kit is part number 46-316198G1. It includes both the upper horizontal arm latch bracket with the delrin pin, and the latch base assembly with the Hall effect sensor. Direction 46-017533, "AMX-4 Latch Switch Assembly Installation," is also included in the kit with addenda to the AMX-4 schematics and renewal parts.
