AMX 4 - Error 104 Intermitent Error with Circuit Breaker Tripping During Charge SN 3684
Symptom
AMX 4 - Error 104 Intermittent & Circuit Breaker Tripping During Charging SEE LONG DESCRIPTION APPLIES TO: All AMX4 Mobile X-ray units using Genesis batteries with SmartGauge Firmware (46-329187G1, 46-329188G1), CPU board 46-264974G2, and a pattern of very light usage/frequent charging. PROBLEM: A few customers with very light usage insist on charging the unit any time it is not in use, and have experienced charging error 104 followed by the main circuit breaker tripping sometime later. This practice is contrary to the operation manual instructions, where it is states "to ensure maximum battery life, we recommend that the AMX4 not be recharged until at least one half of the bar graph segments have extinguished."
