MVP3 Error 19 Demand Sent to Forced Commutation Not Correct
Symptom
MVP3 Error 19 The demand sent to the Forced Commutation is not correct See long description. This error means that the parity of the information sent to the Forced Commutation board by the Power Unit Microcomputer board has the wrong parity. The Power Unit Microcomputer Board calculates the parity of the EXP TIME (pins 35A, 3B, 34A,34B,33A, and 33B), PRECONT1 (pin 32B), ECONT2 (pin 31B) and SYNC-ASYNC (pin 37B) signals sent to the Forced Commutation Board. The Forced Commutationn Microprocessor also calculates the parity of these signals and sends it by the PARITY ACK line to the Power Unit Microcomputer board. If the calculation of these two parities does not match up, it is Error 19. This check is done whenever the equipment is switched on. This error is considered recoverable for the system.
