MVP3 "MI 11154a Filament Aging Compensation" See long description. All serial number s of MVP generators with 80KW, USA/ROW, HS, LmA power modules on the following Console model numbers: 46-903825G01, 46-903825G02, 46-903825G10, 45432761, 45433285, and 45433145 manufactured prior to April 1, 1993. Check that console firmware is at revision 3.00 or upper. Upgrade per FMI 10218 on the contrary. Note: This FMI does not apply to MVP generators interfaced with Flouromax I or Flouromax II image systems. Consult corresponding personnel concerning these generators. In a multi console system, this FMI must be applied for each console in order for the system to remain operative. Install the power cabinet firmware of one FMI kit and disregard the surplusPpower Cabinet Firmware from the other kits. PURPOSE: Install new firmware to ensure that generators continue to operate within design specifications despite the effects of XRay tube filament aging.
