Service Note 43433_0 Jun/03 Pitch Drive Assembly Actuator UGP001423 (5316941) Replacement Procedure Service Note 43433 _0 Jun/03 Pitch Drive Assembly Actuator Replacement Procedure Background It has been found necessary to improve the reliability of the MPR/MPS Pitch Actuator and anew model Pitch Actuator is now being introduced. All new systems shipped from June 2003 production are fitted with the new Actuator. The new Pitch Actuator is backward compatible and the complete assembly may be ordered as a spare part UGP001423 (5316941) replacing the old actuator assembly 2162980. The old FRU will be available as long as stocks last. A prerequisite for replacement of the old type (Straight) with the new Pitch Actuator (Right Angle) is that SW Version 3.0 Build 16 be installed on the system. The pitch actuator type must be configured correctly in st_config No Updates
