Service Note 43438_0 Jun/03 New A1 Regulator Board for MPR/MPS Integrated Power Supply Service Note 43438 _0 Jun/03 New A1 Regulator Board for MPR/MPS Integrated Power Supply - Updates and Corrections Background Recently some cases were reported where the +24v power supply from the A1 regulator board to the Detector in MPR/MPS systems drops to +9.4v during system power up. It was found that when the input voltage is around 110v, the A1 board works properly, but when the input voltage is between 220v - 240v, a heavy current drain causes terminal connectors J1 and J2 on the A1 Regulator board to overheat resulting in the voltage drop during power up. The root cause was found to be the C2 capacitor located next to TP2. No Updates
