Current Distortion Faults Due to Twin Gradient Switch Box.

Symptom

Will Not Scan in Zoom Mode with Gradient Amplifier Current Distortion Faults. See Long Description Will not scan in Zoom gradient mode with gradient amplifier current distortion faults logged. There is no problem when scanning in Whole gradient mode.

Error message

2244851 The GP is reporting a Gradient Amplifier %c Axis Current Distortion Fault. the same error as 2244577 on 11X, G3, openMR4 and 2244578 on 12X, E2, 14M4 (HDx, HDe), and openMR5. See Long Description 2244851 error code on Post 14M5 and 12.0 M5, is the same error as 2244577 on 11X, G3, openMR4and 2244578 on 12X, E2, 14M4 (HDx, HDe), and openMR5.2244851 The GP is reporting a Gradient Amplifier %c Axis Current Distortion Fault Example error message (could be any gradient axis, Y-axis is shown in this example): Error: 2244851 Host: lx-mr2 Process: NSP File: SCP:Grad Line: 2851 The GP is reporting a Gradient Amplifier Y Axis Current Distortion Fault.-> Extended error message This is a generic fault message indicating that the Gradient Amplifiers are not accurately following the current command from the IPG/SRF. If other faults occurred concurrently, they will provide useful information to assist with troubleshooting. Else, swap the control cable between the GP and the failing Gradient Amplifier with the Gradient Amplifier on another axis (swap one end of the cable only).
