Cannot Advance Table to Scan Position Due to Clutch was loose causing it to slip when moving the table small increments

Symptom

Cradle is making a screeching sound when it moves into or out of the bore. See Long Description The sound here is usually extremely "annoying". It is not a binding sound...but a screech.

Error message

2224842 SRI Hardware Error Unexpected cradle motion. Thu Jun 9 13:59:11 2005 Error: 2224842 Host: MR_PHC Process: NSP File: HPC_PORT_ID:sri Line: 99 SRI Hardware Error: Unexpected cradle motion. This error would occur if the table were moved by hand. Please run SRI diagnostics if that is not the case. Expected Cradle Velocity: -100 mm/sec Measured Cradle Velocity: 189 mm/sec
