Recon self-test errors appear during applications start-up

DARC /var/log/messages : timeout attempting to rsh to ig2 ( can be ig1 or ig3 ) See long description DARC /var/log/messages Aug 18 18:43:09 darc logger: is_IG_up 1 ig2 called Aug 18 18:43:09 darc is_IG_up:[recon_control:7973]: ig3 is up ( this will be typically 5 mins after start of DARC boot ) Aug 18 18:43:09 darc is_IG_up:[recon_control:7967]: ig1 is up Aug 18 18:43:10 darc is_IG_up:[recon_control:7970]: timeout attempting to rsh to ig2 ( this is ig2 failing to respond to DARC ) With no intervention DARC will retry to contact ig that failed to respond on fisrt attempt ( notice timestamps ) Aug 18 18:49:58 darc logger: is_IG_up 3 ig2 called Aug 18 18:49:58 darc mountd[3273]: authenticated mount request from ig2:855 for /usr/g (/usr/g) Aug 18 18:49:58 darc is_IG_up:[recon_control:7970]: ig2 is up ( ig2 up nearly 7 minutes after second start )

Try darc load first. Beeps from IG indicate bad hardware. Also RJ45 cables can cause intermittent failures.
