LightSpeed RT16 & RT16 Xtra and Vision
Symptom
Gantry fails to reset properly via the console, but resets ok with gantry re-power. see long description for more detail. Gantry fails to reset properly upon reboot, or via scan hardware reset, the message "scanning hardware reset successful" is returned very quickly, but the Ganty display is blank, and all table/gantry functions are disabled, but if the gantry is repowered via the service switches or at the PDU, the reset works properly, and the system operates normally.
Error message
Error: 260140019 HARD RESET through serial connection failed. see long desription for complete error Sat Oct 24 12:57:29 2009 Error: 260140019 Host: DTHCTGE01 Process: device_control File: device_control_proto.cxx Line: 157 HARD RESET through serial connection failed. some controllers(TGP, ORP, IPC, PROP, PSC) do not response to ping.
