CWA Getting Gradient Related MDS Link Errors.
Symptom
Getting Gradient Related MDS Link Errors Customer was getting MDS Link errors. We could not get them to clear no matter what we did. We tried the e-stop reset, shutting down and power cycling the system.
Error message
2225693 An MDS device failed to respond to IPG. MDS opcode: 0x0A MDS link failure. An MDS device failed to respond to IPG. MDS header: 0x11 -(00/10 = Grad, 01/11 = RF Cabient) MDS opcode: 0x0A Error: 2225693 Host: lx-mr Process: NSP File: HPC_PORT_ID:spi_mds Line: 503 MDS link failure. An MDS device failed to respond to IPG. If the link is broken, a separate error message will be logged. If not, a spurious error occurred. Timer: 253 MDS header: 0x11 -(00/10 = Grad, 01/11 = RF Cabient) MDS opcode: 0x0A 2225702 MDS link failure. The link appears to be broken between the IPG and the Gradient Subsystem. Check the connections and signal level of the MDS fiber optic link between the TYME II card and the Gradient Subsystem. Run MDS fiber optic link diagnostics.
